In 1979, former company president Ron Mossotti started a small video production company named HS (Horse Show) Video Productions. Ron spent the next eighteen months traveling across the United States providing video services to horse show management as well as exhibitors. Covering events that included Arabians, Saddlebreds, hunter/jumpers and Morgans, HS Video worked at over thirty shows in a one-year period. In 1980, Ron teamed with local Lexington, Kentucky sportscaster and producer Tom Hammond to form Hammond Productions.
