I combine years of experience as a business owner and marketer with my web programming skills for graphics editing as well as performing and recording original music.

I prefer to create videos that have a theme, and an enjoyable, artistic presentation that makes it fun to watch, plus, you get the concept.

The best quality videos evolve when there is sufficient planning to create a shot list and a script for editing.

Gig recorded our daughter's wedding and we were very happy with the results. It was a low key wedding and he didn't have input from a wedding planner so he had a difficult time knowing in advance where to be and what was going to happen when. Despite this, he managed to get footage of the event that captured the essence of the day and then worked with us to add a few things afterwards from his raw footage so that the video told a story. He was very patient and accommodating and also very reasonable in his cost. His turnaround time was quick and he communicated with us very efficiently during the process. We recommend him enthusiastically and would not hesitate to work with him again.

I hired Gig to record a presentation my wife gave to a class she teaches, and everything went very smoothly. He communicated clearly and promptly via email before the shoot, was very flexible, handled a tricky room (in terms of layout and lighting) very well, and stayed longer than required. In addition, his rates were very reasonable. It was a pleasure working with Gig, and I can certainly recommend him without reservations.

We used Gig to film our wedding and were very happy with the results. We had him film the ceremony, tea ceremony, speeches, cake cutting, and part of the dancing. For being a one-man show, we were impressed with the footage he was able to capture and thought he was a very fair cost. Gig takes his job very seriously, and was working closely with our wedding planner throughout the evening to make sure he was set up in the right locations. In fact, its best if he is able to meet with your planner/day of coordinator (or yourself) early on the day of the wedding so that he knows exactly where he should set up for every part of the event you'd like footage of (i.e., where people be standing to make toasts). This way he can set up in advance and won't have ask your wedding planner during the event.

Unlike a lot of high-priced videographers in the Bay Area, our wedding video is not like some kind of music-video (which I know is in style now), but more an actual record of our day that we wanted to be able to share with our grandparents, who couldn't be there, and have for ourselves. Our video was about an hour long (you can work with Gig on the length you want), which was perfect for us. We were also happy with the editing process. Gig did a good job shortening silent parts of the ceremony and consolidating the speeches so the video goes through the whole evening smoothly in a much shorter time. We worked with him through the editing process because we wanted to add our entire first dance to the video. We also added a chapter to the end of the DVD, which had the full-length speeches from the father of the bride, father of the groom, best man, and maid of honor. This process of adjustments was in our original contract and at no extra cost. All in all, we were happy with our wedding video, and felt like we didn't spend an arm and a leg in the process.

Gig, from Video Spark Productions, has been my go to videographer for three years now, producing the Art RockX Show. He travels all across the bay area, bringing all the equipment you need, arrives promptly ready to work from the minute he walks in until long after the event is over. He's been our #1 camera man, excellent at live action shooting and photography. He is the utmost professional.

Life Looks Really Cool

Do not use the "Full Screen" YouTube setting to watch this video. It crops the image and you don't see the full picture.

From Our Website

I provide video recording and editing services to the entire San Francisco Bay Area region. I developed a systematic procedure, by which I can do a video shoot safely, and be sure that, in the rare chance that I might be an asymptomatic carrier of a contagious disease, there would still be no chance that I would spread it to others. Wedding videos artistically present an emotional experience. Sports videos require a range of camera techniques. Corporate videos meet customer specifications. Music videos need different microphones and synchronization.

Shot and edited two band videos for a repeat customer, where I used my new audio recording equipment. Discussed marketing video possibilities with a tourist business professional. Edited more book trailer videos. Recorded more classical piano teaching videos. Burned a music CD for a customer. Photographed inside a rental house in San Francisco for the real estate broker's website. Rented my green screen studio out to another film maker, recorded and edited a Bar Mitzvah party, recorded Climate Education at the Albany Stroll, recorded classical piano music, edited more book promotion videos - keepin' it goin'!
