Location & studio audio recording, music mastering, live sound engineering, and audio consulting.

I specialize in location or studio stereo or 2-track digital sound recording using Pro Tools on an Apple MacBook Pro and an Mbox interface with Focusrite preamps. (I also do video production and graphic art, web design, and photography too.) Or I can supervise and assist with your pre-production, recording, and post-production at an outside studio. Another service that I offer is format conversion from and to the following: 1/4" wide stereo 7 1/2 or 3 3/4 IPS speeds 7" reel-to-reel tape, cassette, DAT (my DAT machine is temperamental but I can usually get it to work eventually) , DVD, CD; and MP3, QuickTime, AIFF, or SD II files. Older 1/4" reel-to-reel tape often needs baking between 125 and 135 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 4 (and sometimes many more) hours and then slowly cooling for the same amount of time, in order to play properly. I can do that too.

Graphic art design covers any still 2D images or 3D objects in a wide range of media. I use Apple Macintosh computers, with GIMP, NeoOffice, and other programs.

I also have a US Patent # 4, 884, 792 for my design of a locking self-adjusting cam-operated steel clamp.

Custom fine art and 35mm photography commissions in a number of media such as drawing, painting, mural, sculpture, Macintosh computer art, and 35mm photography are accepted. I am interested in doing large scale stainless steel outdoor sculpture. One of my oil paintings was purchased by Ms. Abby Grey for the Ben and Abby Grey Foundation (St. Paul, Minnesota, USA) collection located at New York University in New York City. Some of my paintings and photographs have been displayed in the offices of Cirque du Soliel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Location MiniDV digital video recording and Mac editing service. Please note, I do not have a video production studio. I do small single camera location productions.

Equipment includes my small, portable Sony 3-CCD (380, 000 pixels each chip) SD MiniDV digital video camcorder with 500 lines of horizontal resolution and 4:3 normal or 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio, battery powered or 120v powered, camera-mounted stereo mic or camera-mounted mono shotgun mic or small camera-mounted light, 3. 5" 184, 000 dots camera-mounted color video monitor, 48x digital zoom, and Hi-Fi stereo. I can shoot hand held with image stabilization or on a tripod; or with an optional portable 2 1/2 foot high shooting platform, and using microphones. I am also able to record time-lapse and regular video directly into my MacBook Pro laptop computer too. Editing is done on my 15" MacBook Pro, with Apple iMovie HD, iDVD, QuickTime, and other programs; and saved to MiniDV, DVD, CD, or as QuickTime files.

I have been making art nearly all my life since I first picked up a crayon, and got into making music while I was in high school in Minnesota. I started recording music and doing commercial art as M City Music & Art in the '80s. I changed the name to Trimordial Studio in 1995 in central California when I provided video production together with my music and art creation work. I have been based in Las Vegas since 1999, adding web design and hosting.
