Shutterstories is a Photo/ Video Rental studio, Fine Art Photo Gallery, Workshop & Event Space located in the heart of the Inland Empire, Riverside. We are a unique space and staff dedicated to helping you capture, share and learn great photography and video as a student, hobbyist, amateur or professional in the field...We believe that there is a huge untapped population of Photo and Video artists in this area that have not been adequately served by the established industry in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We offer an alternative- not only to the drive and the high pricing, but an opportunity to be a part of a new center and network of Photo and Video Artists and Professionals. We hope to play a large role in providing the services and opportunities necessary to this end.

With more than 2700 sq. ft. of versatile studio area featuring a 22" wide cyclorama, a green screen alcove, multiple muslin and paper backgrounds, specialty props, makeup stations, catering area, large projection and surround sound system, wifi and movable studio wall sections you can't beat it. We are an all inclusive studio! What that means to our customers is that there will never be a multiple rental situation. The entire studio along with props, lights & pocket wizards are yours for the duration of your rental. We are friendly and always eager to help with moving props, bringing down muslins or adjusting lights.
Shutterstories is unique by design and versatile in the services offered. We are a spacious studio with the ability to house small productions, music videos, car photography, Product photography, Group shoots and of course portraiture! With incredibly low everyday rates you can't go wrong! Please refer to our rental policies page for any additional questions or give us a call @ 951.318.1574. You will not be allowed to take possession of the studio until you have signed an agreement and paid your remaining amount due.
We apologize for any inconvenience and always do our best to keep props in usable fashion always. Payment is due upon arrival of your rental. Upon arrival, you will be asked for final payment for your rental time, any additional persons (if applicable) and any rental equipment (if applicable). You will be walked thru the studio to determine the studio is ready for your group.
A When we put your rental on the books it doesn't allow anyone else to have that time. When you don't show or cancel at the last minute we lose out on other possible rentals/revenue. A. Certain items have been banned in response to the amount of labor that goes into cleaning after the client leaves.
Every renter has full run of the studio and we never rent to more than one person or group at a time. All *available props, 6 strobe lights, two triggers, coffee, water, wifi and a sound system are included in your rental. We have multiple muslin's and extension cords available upon request at no additional charge to you.

This is by far my favorite place to shoot. Joe has done a great job with this studio, introducing new equipment, focusing on his clients and insuring the best experience for all renting photographers. Terry, Melissa and I made a great decision in selling to Joe Ash Photography. He's great. Shutterstories will continue to be the home of GZ Photography.

What can I said about this place and his owner? This place is amazing! Chroma Key walls, a lot of stages and a huge white shoot set to place a RV if you want. The owner is there collaborating in your project if you ask for his help. The pricing is SUPER AFFORDABLE! And the the quality is top notch. They have all the lights you need and they will set them up for you; if you ask for. Definitely I will come back!

Just recently had a photoshoot in this location and the location was AMAZING! Staff is kind and very sweet. love the fact that they ask for permission to get involved and they are non judgmental about my Body Empowerment Project. (in the past I have received a little bit of a backlash) My models enjoyed the location and the sweet man that was documenting our experience for their business needs (which I believe was the owner). I recommend this location to anyone that is trying to have a photoshoot.(pricing was also amazing, they now have a loyal customer, I will be going back soon)

Event: High School Graduation Pictures The best word to describe our experience with Shutterstories and the finished product is: "Superb!" (From beginning to end.) We had a deadline to meet and they delivered. The photo shoot was loads of fun and the photographer, (Joe Ash) was very professional and his suggestions and poses were very tasteful, modern and age appropriate. I will definitely use his services again in the near future.

We recently rented the studio for a Cancer Fundraiser Pin up photo-shoot, the studio is beautiful. Owners Terry and Melissa are the best! They have a beautiful studio and were very helpful and are extremely professional. Their studio had everything we needed to set up our shoot from the lighting, to makeup stations, a car cove to bring in classic cars, an awesome sound system, a beautiful living room and bedroom set, lounge chairs and several props helping our pin up classic theme.
You name it they had it and best of all it was all included in the low rental price. We raised a lot of money for the American Cancer Society. If you are looking for an awesome studio with everything you need, check this place out! You won't be disappointed. From start to finish, the Shutter Stories folks were very friendly and accommodating of our Photography event. They understood our vision and did whatever they could to make sure we were well convienanced. Our event was a success and will say with complete honesty that this space will have our business again.
