At our amazing waterfront location in San Francisco, the Outpost team continues to employ the most current tools and techniques to track foley and ADR, in dialogue editing, mixing and sound designing for films, video games, TV and online media.Dave Nelson's career spans over twenty years in the film, sound and recording industry.
As a composer, sound designer and re-recording mixer, his work involves a vast and interesting mix of documentaries, features, shorts as well as albums, several of which have been nominated for Academy, Emmy and Grammy Awards.

With over 20 years of experience in the professional audio market, Outpost Studios has had the pleasure of serving a multitude of different clients. From large film studios to small independent producers, from projects based in the US to coordinating across multiple time-zones and cultures. When possible, it's better to export the entire audio track(s) instead of individual audio regions. Outpost offers three professional recording and mixing environments, each with its separate isolation booth and their own set of amenities. A wide range of microphones, outboard gear and monitoring options complements our acoustically designed studios, along with complete ISDN and Internet based connectivity.

I'm an Independent Film Maker. I just finished a Feature Film called "Fill Your Heart". My audio was out of sync and needed Foley and mastering of script audio and Score music. Dave and his crew were simply amazing. Great communication and they work fast and efficient and did what it takes to get the job done right. I'm very appreciative of them and will use them for all of my upcoming projects.

I'm the lead editor at a small documentary production company. We've worked with his Dave and his team on everything from voiceover recording to full-bore sound design on feature films -- and they've never been anything but amazing. They have great creative and technical chops, and always deliver on time. Plus, they're very, very nice people!
