On-Site Video

I first used the service 20 years ago and have now returned for more! They do an outstanding job at an astonishingly moderate cost and the service is prompt. Have no hesitation in giving them a great recommendation.

My family was thrilled with the video service we received from On-Site Video. We had nine VHS tapes of family reunions, picnics, graduations, holiday gatherings, etc. that dated back more than 30 years. We had no expectations that the videos were even salvageable. On-site Video returned to us videos on flash drives and DVDs that we have enjoyed watching over and over again. Betsy and John were friendly, helpful and ever so patient since this was the first time we had used any video transfer service. We highly recommend On-Site Video.

I took a bunch of my VHS tapes to turn into a DVD. They did a wonderful job, the owners were very pleasant and personable, and I will be taking more business to them in the future! If you are looking for a place to have your keepsakes on a DVD, look no further! This is the place!

I had an old betamax tape I needed to get converted to a more convenient/modern format for viewing, and they were able to transfer it to a USB and CD for better conservation. I'll definitely be a repeat customer for all my future transferring/conversion needs. I also highly recommend their services, to anyone in need of audio or video transfers. You won't be disappointed. I certainly am one happy customer.

I dropped off several old cassette tapes to be converted to mp3's and CD's. They not only converted the music but also enhance the sound quality. I was very impressed by their quality of work, professionalism and responsiveness. I would not recommend going ANYWHERE else for this type of service! On-Site Video is the VERY BEST. Thank you!

I took 3 special Hawaiian music records to them for transfer to a CD. It was before Thanksgiving, & they were totally honest about not being able to get to my job right away. I told them "before New Years" would be fine, & by Christmas the work was done. They were professional, helpful, understanding & as a long-time business they were trustworthy!

They did work for me many years ago -- & are just as terrific now as then. The final product is great -- & the page of analysis of issues on the LP's was enlightening & helpful to have. I'd take anything audio or visual to them, & know I was getting professional help at a VERY fair price. And they are within 5 miles of my home! A winner for this 82 year old, all the way around.

John & Besty are very knowledgeable, responsive and very caring in their approach. They understand what people's special memories mean and I am sure take the same professionalism to other areas of the business. We have audio cassettes and VHS. They did a great job not only on converting to digital format but were very clear at what issues the tapes had.

We have several other family memories on 8mm, VHs etc and will not hesitate to trust them. The added bonus is they are LOCAL and we believe it's important to support local business, especially in this Covid weirdness. You cannot go wrong with On-site.

I've used this service off-and-on for over twenty years. Their work is spot on; they are polite and professional, and their techs know their stuff. If there's something they couldn't do ( I had video reels) they let you know. They worked with my schedule, and were patient--ultra patient! Great work.and local! I don't have the danger of sending my only copy by post to CA or somewhere. They're just down the road. Excellent!

I am so grateful for John and Betsy's help from On-Site Video. They were able to convert an old cassette tape to a digital file for me. The service was very reasonably priced. In the end, they charged me less than the total quoted amount, even with purchasing an additional CD copy at last minute, which was very appreciated. I highly recommend this business!

I love this place! My dad found old 8mm film from my grandfather that we assumed were too old and beat up to produce anything but On-Site Video was able to get all of the content onto DVD and their prices were very reasonable. I also used them to convert an old cassette tape onto CD as well as an old VHS tape onto DVD. The husband and wife team are very friendly as well! I plan to use them for the rest of the 8mm film that we have.

On-Site Video transferred my parents' home movie film to VHS video tape 30 years ago. Just recently I had them transfer these tapes to digital media. It is the same great founders/owners and they did the same great job! AND very reasonably priced.

This was a fantastic experience and On Site Vdeo did a great job. I had years and years of family video going all the way back to the 1980s. It sat in boxes and collected dust. Someone else had recommended I check them out and so I brought in boxes of old VHS, VHS-C, SD cards and some other assorted formats. Everything they did - conversion and copies - was for a fair price and done well. I highly recommend On Site Video based on the help they gave me.

Used their services back in 1996 and liked them. Went back recently with just over 100 VHSc tapes and DV cassettes to transfer to a hard drive before they became too brittle to play or copy. Betsy and team did a great job and slightly lower then the estimate. They tightened the tapes and adjusted tracking to get the best quality possible. I can now edit the files down and store them on a private cloud drive as a legacy for my adult children. The first night of looking at about 10 files we realized that this was money well spent. Thank you!

The woman who runs this place scams you. She will quote you one price on the phone and then try to charge you more when is time to pay.

Generally a mixed bag. I've done video transfers at Costco but they'll only transfer to a DVD, so I was excited to find a local business who can transfer old video tapes onto a flash drive (or whatever medium). On-Site Video was fairly responsive to my initial email and friendly every time I went in. I did, in the end, get my videos transferred. So, all of those things went well.

On the other hand, the transfer time was quoted at several days. When about three weeks had gone by without hearing back, I emailed and never got a reply. Four days after my email I finally got a phone call that my transfer was done. I was also quoted a "maximum price" that it would be, but assured that the length of the video tapes made a difference and that it might come to less than that.

One of the tapes was only twenty minutes long so I was hopeful I'd come in under. When I arrived to pay, they had shaved a couple of dollars off of the fee for that tape (it was still almost the same as the others), but there was also an added fee to put the video on a flash drive - which I had provided. I asked what other way I was supposed to take possession of the video that would have spared me this fee and got no response.

If you need to transfer some video from old tapes to a digital medium, On-Site appears to do good work. Just be prepared for a potentially long wait, sluggish communication, and inexplicable fees.
