Steve produced a highly successful documentary video series for the International Monetary Fund in 2017-18, featuring our work in Colombia, Ireland, and Vietnam. The videos have so far garnered more than a million views on our corporate video channels, and continue to do well. I am extremely impressed by Steve's work, and highly recommend him both as an accomplished storyteller and capable project manager who needs very little direction and supervision.

Great video producer and storyteller, with strong skills working across cultures! I joined Steve's film crew in Malawi, Africa, for a one-week documentary shoot for a high-profile US government client. He directed and shot, with amazing results; and always managed to put everyone at ease, production crew and Malawian subjects alike. I'm looking forward to working with Steve again.

I have had the pleasure of working with Steve on several projects that required creativity, expertise, and attention to detail. Steve has a unique set of qualities that he brings to media projects: He sees the big, strategic picture, takes the time to understand the details, and has the international affairs expertise that equips him with a sharp editorial sense.

Steve Dorst produces high quality videos, and is a pleasure to work with. He understands filmmaking, and bridges that with the messages and objectives of video. The quality of his film making is very high--a very nuanced and sophisticated story telling, with high production value.

Steve Dorst made a fantastic video for us on a particularly tight deadline! It was a challenging assignment as he had to film in Senegal for three days and then write and edit a script in both English and French. Steve's experience working with development organizations was evident as he turned around a strong script in a very short time. We were incredibly proud to feature the video for the Senegalese delegation at the World Bank Group Annual Meetings Our team is pleased with the result and looks forward to collaborating with Steve again.

My NGO has contracted Dorst MediaWorks multiple times to produce videos that tell the story of our global impact. As communications director, I worked with Steve Dorst directly--he's talented, creative, efficient, and flexible. He gets nonprofits, he gets international development--he just gets it. On top of that, he's a total pleasure to work with.

The experience of working with Steve was a smooth and exhilarating one. They landed jet-lagged and hit the ground running. And the output was a gorgeous video. Thanks for the collaboration!

Finding filmmakers that think beyond the art and the production, but to the central message and the power of influence is difficult in the creative industry, but Steve Dorst and Dorst Media Works checks all those boxes and more. Steve is a rare combination of intelligent, thoughtful creative and resourceful production expertise that makes him potent in all environments.

He looks through the obvious to find solutions that are sometimes surprising to his clients and the audience. Many look to satisfy requirements, Steve aims to exceed. Not satisfied with a B, DMW is A level no matter the budget and approach. If you are looking for excellence, look no further.
